Rise of Nations Guides Hub
Tutorials for Hyperant's Roblox grand strategy — from first factories to world conquest.
Welcome to the Guides Hub for Rise of Nations on Roblox. This page is the map to every how-to article on the wiki. Rise of Nations is Hyperant’s grand strategy experience released on November 14, 2018: roughly 240 playable nations, about 275 formables, and a full world map where economy, diplomacy, and war decide who dominates. There are no promo codes in this game — progression comes from factories, policies, doctrines, projects, and conquest. Use the links below to jump into the topic you need, then cross-link to Codes, the Tier List, Players, Scripts, Updates, and Tools when you want meta or patch context.
Getting Started
New to the lobby? Read Getting Started first. It covers how to pick a nation, why your first factories matter more than early city development, how to justify war without collapsing stability, why South Africa is a strong beginner pick, how consumer goods keep unrest down, and why starting in crowded Europe often ends a first match early. Pair it with the Beginner Nations tier page when you want country recommendations by difficulty.
Economy
Money funds everything else. The Economy Guide walks through electronics, steel, motor, fertilizer, and civilian factories; trading manufactured goods to AI nations; stacking Ignore Safety Regulations with Improve Infrastructure for a combined -30% build cost; Democracy tax income versus Communism factory output; the danger of unchecked debt; and 2026 river-city bonuses that raise tax, factory, and resource output. Build income before you spam tanks.
Military
When the treasury is healthy, open the Military Guide. It explains infantry, tanks, artillery, and anti-air on land; navy and air roles; land doctrines including Static Lines, Massed Attack, Specialization, and Manoeuvre Warfare; entrenchment timing; auto-capture behavior; the lure-AI trick; river-crossing combat after August 2026; and how manpower shortages end wars even when your current stack looks strong.
Ideology
Political identity multiplies every other system. The Ideology Guide covers Non-Aligned, Liberalism, Democracy, Socialism, Communism, Nationalism, and Fascism; State Doctrine laws such as Classical, Stratocracy (manpower law — not a land doctrine rename), and Clerical; Liberation enforce-ideology flips; and the Initiate Ideological Imposition project with Forced Regime Change.
Projects
Long-term national programs arrived on May 24, 2026. The Projects Guide explains the roughly thirty Diplomatic, Domestic, Economy, Military, Political, and Research projects; political power and resource costs; tick-based progress; Centralize Military-Political Influence (+300 PP with stability and 0.85x combat tradeoffs while active); and why beginners should not Centralize during the first factory wars.
Technology
The Technology Guide covers the May 17, 2025 research rework: timed queues instead of instant unlocks, tech count cut from ~162 to ~78, higher base research output, economic-then-military priorities, research sharing, and river-crossing mitigation techs that matter after the River Update.
Policies
Short-cycle government tools live in the Policies Guide. Learn the factory-cost pair, Advance the Research Bureau, tax tools, the Non-Aligned Neutrality Act, the August 2026 Hard Currency Initiative, and how State Doctrine laws sit beside toggle policies.
Nukes
Late-game deterrence is covered in the Nukes Guide: Uranium Enrichers, expensive post-2025 atomic research, silos, and why rushing nukes before factories fails. Older nuke videos are often outdated — read the written systems first.
Formables
Formables are permanent identity upgrades. The Formables Guide covers the peace requirement, required territory, mutually exclusive formables, a Soviet Union overview, Roman Empire goals, rewards such as stability, modifiers, skins, and titles, plus the tip to chase early regional formables before late-game empires. Cross-check priorities on the Formables Tier List.
Controls
Speed matters in multiplayer. The Controls Guide lists full PC hotkeys: Q/W/E/A/S for country, diplomacy, economy, technology, and military menus; unit keys T, X, C, G, V, and H; city V/B building shortcuts; camera zoom and pan; holding Shift to ignore units when clicking cities; and notes for mobile touch play.
How to Get XP
Unlocking India (144,338 XP), the United States (176,777 XP), and China (250,000 XP) requires player experience. How to Get XP explains the XP formula and modifiers, why small high-modifier nations farm faster than superpowers (0.11x XP), conquest as the main XP driver, and the Warlord / Conqueror / Grandmaster title milestones.
